Think of Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif and you know they are one of the biggest names in the movie business. While we are all just so amazed by their sizzling on-screen chemistry, it’s their off-screen chemistry which usually manages to make a lot of headlines. The two were once together and even after parting ways, the two decided to remain friends and have even worked in films together later. Present at an event recently, Kat was asked about her relationship with the superstar and she called it a beautiful friendship which has lasted for over 16 years.
Katrina shared, “It’s a friendship that’s lasted 16 years, he’s a true friend. He’s a solid person who is there for you when you need it. He may not be in touch with you all the time but he stands beside his friends,”
Katrina also spoke about the content being made today. She said, “Content is king and the exposure that everyone has now due to Netflix and influx of the digital platforms is so huge that everyone is demanding higher quality. We have definitely seen that change in the industry. I saw Article 15 and that film is outstanding. Ayushmann (Khurrana) is really cracking that genre of storytelling, entertainment and we have seen that kind of cinema come. But everyone’s needn’t follow the same path. I wish I could be like Ayushmann. But we are very different people. What works for him might not work for me.”
On the work front, Katrina and Salman last appeared in Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat alongside Sunil Grover. The film collected around Rs. 211 crore at the box-office.
