  5. I teach music using ukuleles. But,because I work with kids I teach notes then we build out own chords. Are their any players or teachers that teach notes on the ukulele?

  6. I grew up in Hilo. Like most kids who went to Hilo Union I ended up with an ukulele and learned to play it. That was back in the mid 70s. Tonight, I just decided I had to get one again. Mine is like the one you have, six string with double octaves, but is a Kala IA-6 (I think that's what it says).
Looking forward to getting reaquainted with playing. I love the sound and I miss playing those songs from my youth.
    Aloha & Mahalo.

  7. I'm from the Cook Islands and we also play the ukulele but our sound and style is a little bit different, faster and very rhythmic. It's always good to see other cultural styles played by the ukulele i.e. Hawaii.
